Her comment: “I read/skimmed over half of Twilight today. It is undeniably the worst crap I’ve ever read. Not so bad it’s good. So bad it’s very, very bad. You are excused from liking it only if you are younger than 15. “

Her comic depicts Twilight fans.

To me, it screams, “Twilight fans are SO crazy about it, there should be a mental hospital for them! ”

Oh..

So people have been asking me, what the hell does the picture on the cover of each book of the Twilight Saga has got to do with the story when they saw me holding the book. I’ve been doing quite alot of research on the internet for everything i can find about the books ever since i got hold of the first one. And, no, i’m not crazy. Answers to whoever i had recommended the book to (:

Twilight:
The apple on the cover of Twilight represents “forbidden fruit”. Scripture from Genesis “the fruit of knowledge of good and evil.” Thats what Bella ends up with, a working knowledge of what good is and what evil is. Apples has many symbolic roots, from snow white to Paris and the golden apple in Greek mythology. 
Stephenie Meyers says ” In the end, I love the beautiful simplicity of the picture. To me it says: choice.”

New Moon & Eclipse:
The flower on the New Moon is a ruffled tulip. It’s chosen by the publisher, not Stepenie Meyer. It’s most probably the same for Eclipse as well.

Breaking Dawn:
It represents Bella and Bella. She started out as the weakest in the story and ends up being the one who decides the outcome of the story, making her the most powerful player.
